Charter cost · India

What a private jet
actually costs.

Private jet charter in India is quoted per sector, not per seat — and the number moves with aircraft class, flight time, where the aircraft is based and what the airport charges. Here is how a quote is built, and how to get a firm one for your route.

Six factors

What moves the number.

Aircraft class

The single largest factor. A light jet, a super-midsize and an ultra-long-range aircraft sit in different hourly bands because of fuel burn, crew requirement and maintenance reserve.

Flight time, not distance

Charter is billed on block hours. A faster aircraft on a long sector can cost less overall than a slower one, even at a higher hourly rate.

Positioning (ferry) legs

If the aircraft is based in Delhi and you depart from Hyderabad, the ferry time is part of your quote. Choosing an aircraft already in your city is often the biggest saving available.

Crew duty and overnights

Same-day returns, late departures and multi-day trips add crew duty, hotel and per-diem costs.

Airport handling and parking

Ground handling, navigation and parking differ by airport and by time of day. Metro airports at peak slots cost more than secondary fields.

Taxes and regulatory charges

Applicable GST and statutory charges are added to the operator's sector price and shown in the proposal.

Helitejet does not publish fixed hourly rates: operator pricing changes with fuel, availability and season. Every request returns live proposals from vetted operators so you compare real numbers, not indicative ones.

Spending less

Three ways to lower the sector price.

  • Fly an aircraft already based in your departure city — you avoid paying for the ferry leg.
  • Take a repositioning flight when the timing suits you.
  • Move a departure by an hour or two; slot and handling charges at metro airports vary sharply through the day.
